  1. What you want to look into is a Class B (looks like a small cargo van). You don't need to tow a car with it and it can fit in small parking spots. New are expensive but if you can find a used one - great. Perfect for one person. Good luck! Sounds like a great idea for you!! 2. Sorry, just my opinion but there's nothing semi-stealth, discreet about it.
  3. There are hundreds of campgrounds and there are various campground internet sites to explore. Just plug in a city and you can see what's around it. Here's one such site: https://www.campgroundreviews.com/
  4. 285 is an OK route for RVers and many drive it. However, you'll have a few passes - Kenosha Pass north of Fairplay southbound will have 2 mi of 6% grade with 50 MPH speed limit. Also north of Fairplay is Red Hill about 1 mi of 6% grade. Then near the 285/24 junction you'll have Trout Creek Pass... southbound descent is 4 mi of 5% then it eases up and the last 1.5 mi into Johnson Village is 5-6% grade.
  5. A mouse can have 5-10 litters per year. Don't know why you'd release them! https://www.batzner.com/resources/blog-posts/the-rapid-reproduction-rate-of-mice/
  6. We've used so many doctors in our travels and never had an issue with them taking Medicare.
  7. Guess you'd have to call. I just did a Google for the one you're interested in & this came up.
  8. Did you try an auto part's store? Here are Coachman/Forest River forums that you may want to try for information: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f254/ https://rvforums.com/forums/coachmen/ https://www.forestriverforums.com/forums/f214/
  9. What's the name of this park? I would bet there are more parks without the age rule than with it. Surely there are other RV parks in the area for you to stay. Public parks? City parks? County parks?
  10. Original Poster: Sorry if we all got off-track but you didn't say if you're Medicare age or not. Here's a good comparison article for all three: Medicare Supplement; Medicare Advantage HMO; Medicare Advantage PPO: https://www.ehealthinsurance.com/medicare/supplement-all/medicare-advantage-vs-medicare-supplement-plans
  11. Here's another: https://mhsrv.com/2006-dynamax-corp-isata-f-series310-w2-slides-0-class-c-tx-i1211864
  12. ... but was it only that one vaccination? Hasn't she had all the childhood-types of vaccination. All vaccinations don't have the same compounds.
  13. The OP didn't say if he was on Medicare or not and is he actually living permanently in Livingston or just has a mail service. If you have Medicare and a Medicare supplement you can use it anywhere in the country. We did - even surgeries in different states. Easy to get doctors. If you have Medicare and a Medicare Advantage plan you can't use it freely countrywide.
  14. Did you know you could be hospitalized for take an aspirin? Or any other common medication? Just because someone gets an adverse reaction doesn't mean the drug isn't safe. The adverse reaction is because of the person's body chemistry. No one is the same. Freedoms are talked about but no one has the freedom to willfully harm another person. One can not have any symptoms of having Covid but still can pass it on to someone else.
  15. We had a long storage tube to carry flyrods. When we went to retrieve them there were mouse pellets in it with a dead mouse. We only had one time with a mouse issue..... parked in Stanley, Idaho next to a meadow. Everyone there had the problem. We set spring traps with peanut butter - about 10 of them inside and in the basement. They were snapping all night long for a couple nights. We then left and set them one more time. None afterwards. This was in one September and I think the mice were looking for their winter home to escape the winter. Never found the entry but never had a problem after that for years.
  16. You first need to seal the entries then set traps to catch the ones that are inside. We found spring traps with peanut butter works best. Don't put down pellets. They'll just carry them away and die somewhere and the smell is terrible.
  17. There are water filters for RVs for bacteria. Check out this site: https://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/water-filtration-systems
  18. We've had Progressive. We had bought a small 5th wheel and truck for an Alaskan trip. We left via Death Valley and the truck's engine failed. We called Progressive from Death Valley and two tow trucks came from Lone Pine - 70 miles away.... one for the truck and one for the 5th wheel. No extra charge. We've always had just the rider for towing on our vehicle insurance. It was $10/yr.
  19. I had never heard of the brand. Interesting design and I like the clean-looking interior. Have fun! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60Wm9ZYdOf0&ab_channel=MountComfortRV
  20. So you are domiciled in Texas? You have a Texas driver's license? You don't upgrade your license until you have the RV and depending on the size of the RV you might not have to upgrade. When you get your RV get insurance on it and then you'll take it to get tested, if needed, but you have a driver's license to do that so it's legal to drive your RV to get tested. Wouldn't you think that if it was illegal it wouldn't be allowed? Texas (& other states) is just fine with you doing it this way. You're insured and have a legal driver's license. Simple as that.
  21. Not sure what you mean by "impossible to accomplish legally". Do you mean in Texas? Please explain.
  22. Hmmm I just tried the link again and it works.

  24. You stated "north of Granger"..... where is that? Do you mean Gardiner? That's national forest not BLM isn't it?
