  1. To me this sounds like you have full custody and can determine living arrangements. You need to make yourself clearer if this isn't what you meant.
  2. So.... you have your children living with you. Who takes care of them while you work? Seems like a RV park would be a lot safer and a better place for a child to grow up rather than on the streets. You stated you work until 6pm and do things until 8pm. I'm concerned about your child/children.
  3. How would you know that every instance was done by out-of-state visitors? That's a BIG accusation!
  4. We never locked our bay doors. The repair of a damaged door would be more costly than what's behind the door. There were many times while boondocking or in public campgrounds we left without locking the main door when going for a walk.
  5. Paid $2.59 for gas today at Costco Arizona
  6. I don't know why they included Sleeping Bear Dunes Nat'l Lakeshore as the campgrounds have always been full for 20+ years and that's a prime vacation area for non-campers. Beautiful area! We volunteered there for 9 seasons.

  8. This states most rentals in Europe are diesel: http://www.motorhome-international.com/template/default.asp?PageId=467&catId=2&maincat=1 .... and diesel is popular in Europe: https://rentar.com/europeans-drive-diesel-cars-dont-americans/
  9. We even left things on the kitchen and bath counters in the motorhome and they didn't move. We had loose table chairs and recliners and they didn't move.
  10. Here's a good article. You don't need debt for a high credit score. https://www.heraldnet.com/business/no-you-do-not-have-to-be-in-debt-to-have-a-good-credit-score/
  11. Same here. High credit score and no debt, no payments.
  12. This is just an author's opinion. He does state "Of course, there are those who take full advantage of these capabilities and seek them out. They serve some owners very well, as do the large diesel engines that they utilize to travel this wonderful country." There's a niche for every kind of RV.
  13. I'd recommend 99 Exit 155 at Madera to 145 to 41 north to Oakhurst and on to Bass Lake. On Hwy 49 between Auburn and Oakhurst it's very steep... up to 9% grade.
  14. Depending on the breed of dogs and how many dogs, you might have a difficult time finding parks to stay. They usually have specific requirements to abide by.
  15. I just looked at my Profile and I only see "Edit Profile"; not "Cover Profile". Must be only for the special ones! 😁
  16. Probably at all the park visitor centers. I wouldn't expect service park-wide.

  18. OP: Do you have other windows open or your door? Whatever you do you'll need to treat your other screens. They aren't just coming through your roof vent. They were so bad in Florida once that we had to leave. I'm wondering if you know what a sewer fly looks like. If the vent is by your bathroom perhaps that's what you're seeing rather than 'seeing no see-ums'. 😁
  19. It just doesn't seem to be promoted on RV sites for some reason. I wish folks would post their experiences as it would help others. It could be an excellent site if more recent postings.
  20. I agree. We've seen this as volunteers, also. Wish folks would be considerate if they can't make their reservations to call the campground directly and let them know. Then they can open the site up for others to enjoy.
  21. Is there a specific reason you need to stay in Phoenix in the summer? You need to get out of the heat!! There are some wonderful Maricopa County Parks surrounding the greater Phoenix area. Also, Lost Dutchman State Park. Try Desert Shadows, Apache Palms, North Phoenix RV Park, Desert Edge, Mesa/Apache Junction KOA, Twin Palms, Deer Valley RV. Good luck!!
  22. A stovetop perculator makes awesome coffee - full-bodied and much hotter than an electric pot. Pour a cup & pour the rest in a thermos and it stays hot and freshly-made all day long
