  1. What a day!!! Just another 300 more points for Tesla before I back the truck up. I picked up a little Apple and HASI. Luckily I sold a lot 10 days ago with cash sitting on the sideline.
  2. The best membership for the money BAR NONE is Passport America. I think the membership is only $44 a year and you get 50% off the campgrounds rate. Just a couple nights a year pay for it with ease. Staying weekly and monthly at places give you the best rate. Even if you want to stay seasonally (at least 3 months) you will get a better rate. Basically the longer you stay the cheaper is usually gets. It also depends on the area you plan on traveling. There are so many variables that can guide you to your best options. There is not a one membership fits all. Passport America is the best all around one out there.
  3. If you listen to any conference call it states that it has forward looking thinking in it. Forward thinking are not facts and guaranteed, why they say forward thinking. Companies miss there forcast all the time and sometimes the surpass it.
  4. I would think if you ask 99.9% of CEOs what they think there for cast would be in 5 years. They would all give you a good outlook. AMD has had a GREAT run in the last year. Heck airlines and cruise lines will have large increases as they are at tremendous lows in 5 years.
  5. Thanks, I will look not them. Bio techs are hit or miss.
  6. I put some in AIMT. They received an FDA approval for a therapy for people with peanut allergy’s. And let me tell you how many kids have it these days.
  7. I have an eye on AMD, I always had AMD computers all my life. The CEO, she is a great CEO. But I hate chasing stocks. There are several sticks that I’m creating a grocery list on. Some big and some that I think will be up coming.
  8. I was thinking of jumping at at the $180 mark also. A FB cybertruck forum was talking about Tesla’s stock. This is what I posted. The stock Consolidated around 260 and the hung around 360 for just a little bit and has not looked back since. It might test that base again. I would start dipping in around 360.I parked a bunch of cash into a 1 year CD. And I caught a great 2.2% rate. As we are going to have I think a lot of up and down like the end of 2018.
  9. Besides having to declare the rent as income and losing the right off. If you rent it for three years and then decide to sell it. You will have to pay Capitol gains above your basis cost, as it was not your domiciled residents for 3 out of the past 5 years. I would just sell it. Finding a great tenet that pays you on time and takes care of the property is a rare one to find. If you need to update the house renting it maybe an angle to writing off the remodeling as it would be for a renter. There are a lot of angles depending on what your goals are.
  10. Merrill Edge is either one day or the 6 months out. I would agree about the pot stocks, I was way up and now CRAZY down, but it is at least a 5 year investment for me. It’s going to happen and it just a question of when. And with what the market is doing, I’m thinking it might be sooner..
  11. I’m assuming you mean brakes? Go to a local repair shop and see if they can have a tech come out to you or even talk to a tech to see if he wants to do it on the side.
  12. Good to know, thanks for the information.I wonder at what version they will be when they are able to drive full autonomous? Where you could plot in the GPS where you want to go and do what ever you wanted. Then the GPS would would say, you have arrived to your destination.
  13. I was under the impression that there were two computers. One that could have the capability to handle autonomous driving when activated and one that does not have that much computing power. As I would think the autonomies computer would have A LOT more computing to it over the other.
  14. Good for them. It read that the invested over $500k to get $8??k in returns. And then many more still not sure how that explains your first reply that I questioned? The stock market is not a lottery. Everyone can access public information and make a decision to invest.
  15. Not really sure what you are saying? Keep there mouth shut? How is timing the market a diverse accounting system? Why a sudden stop? I never said anything like inside trading that was illegal that would make it come to a stop on purpose or accidental. Just trying to understand your reply from your post that you quoted me on.
  16. Well hind site is 20/20. You will never get the big moves unless you were in the stock. If someone knew how to time the market, they would be the richest person in the world.
  17. I sold everything I was up on on the second down day and let things that I was down ride. So now I have a good amount of cash sitting on the sidelines waiting to get back in. Plus I took a chunk into a 1 year CD at 2.2%. I still think that we have a bit more pain to get through. And if we start seeing a lot of cases in the US it will get way worse in my opinion.
  18. Not yet, my reply was based on your first post, which there is no link in it. But I plan on reading it.
  19. But for you to gain access to an Xfinity hot spot, you need to be an Xfinity customer. I do not believe they are open networks.
  20. So you think that a 50 amp pedestal has 100 amps to it? Because at 50 amp ones there is a 30 amp and a 20 amp 120 plug usually. This is how I came up with 100 amps. But another thought is that you would need to have a longs 50 amp extension cord. As most pedestals are at the rear to middle of the site.
  21. I place limit orders. This way it will buy at the price that I want it to. Sure you can sell stocks that you just bought. You can even set up that order when you buy the stock. Heck you could only want to own that stock for minutes if you wanted. I trade myself online.
  22. This was my thinking also. But thinking about it, is there 100 amps being supplied to the CG pedestal? If so you could switch the rig over to 30 amps and hook the car to 50 amps. But then you would want another Autoformer to carry also. I say that because I would think that you would want good clean power as you would not want to damage the charging system of batteries because of possible low voltage. I say this because where I am now the voltage seems to drop every night to 105-108 volts for several hours. Not sure why as it is winter in the desert and there should not be a large demand for electricity.
  23. So having the satellites being closer to the earth would have no effect? From what I read these are the lowest orbiting satellites currently.
  24. I cut this from an article I read. As SpaceX eyes an initial public offering for Starlink, it has a lot going for it. It enjoys widespread name recognition and has entered pop culture and discussions of space exploration the world over. There will likely be no shortage of investors willing to throw money at the project. As a result, I would expect this offering to be oversubscribed in short order, with a valuation built on the same lofty expectations and assumptions that garnered SpaceX its current private valuation of more than $33 billion. A public offering will force SpaceX to disclose more financial information than it has in the past, which could result in new information emerging. However, I do not anticipate anything that could derail this particular offering. Enthusiasm for SpaceX is high, as it is for the entire burgeoning space economy. One need only look at the stock performance of another space flight company that recently went public, Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc. (NYSE:SPCE). Virgin Galactic's market capitalization has surged to $5.6 billion, far outstripping any sensible valuation based purely on the addressable market for space tourism.
