  1. Mike and Deb, Dang when it rain it pours. What do they mean a month to get a damn toilet? Wish you were over here, we'd do a "Midnight Supply" run and get you back on the road. Or take the boat out and get some Crab. My neighbors are having the same kind of luck with their MH. Slides quit working so they called a repair place in Rawlins, WY. Seems that Dumb and Dumber showed up, put Air Ratchets to the Manual Slide bolts and stripped them. Their unit has been screwed up for almost a month and I will save their story for a campfire this winter. So I'm sitting here plumb tuckered out cause nobody is around to help with my latest project. Metal will be delivered tomorrow and I hope to get it all buttoned up before it starts raining. Joe
  2. Yep always knew there was something strange bout them "EH" folks. Hope you get your problems taken care of real soon. Joe
  3. Boy Toni that really sounds good, but alas I'm stuck here working and helping a friend celebrate his 60th BD. HE on the other hand has no idea what is happening. Joe
  4. YeeeeeHaawwwww, got to move my peg today. Only 70 miles, but I moved it. I'm so close to "EH" land I can hear them sayin "EH". Other than that, not really much going on up here in the PNW. Joe
  5. Sorry to hear about Terry's loss. Prayers for all of you as you travel through this time.
  6. You planning on staying in the Northwest till then? Actually would probably work well for me if'n I get outta the PNW at all this winter. Joe
  7. Well IF I make it down that way at all this winter, either Q or Sidewinder work for me. Sidewinder would prolly be the better of the 2 though. Joe
  8. De Nada, figured it was the only thing I could do after I ordered that huge Marguerita for your bride. The look on her face when she saw it was priceless. Was good chatting with you guys also, hope things work out so we can get together again before you hit the road to "EH" land. Joe
  9. Hey guys, Heading for home today. I'll try to stop by later and catch up with you. Joe
  10. YeeeeeHaaawwww, got to move my peg today. Not very far, only 70 miles, but it's a move. Sitting in my Private RV spot in Lynden for the next few days. Got a couple of days WORK to do then it will be back home probably Thursday. Joe
  11. Right on, glad you got a spot. I like to sit out on the deck at Siren's and watch the world go by. Last time I took the ferry it cost me about $85.00, but then I measure 66 feet long. I'll pay the money not to have to drive through Seattle. Just make sure you make reservations. Oh and it might be cheaper for each of you to drive on the ferry than to hook up your toad. Over on this side there are several option of places to park, including Spikers RV Resort. Then there is the City Park in Oak Harbor and a couple of other parks between here and Anacortes. I'll be leaving Monday for a few days up in Lynden, actually have to do some work for a change. Joe
  12. Cool, Chimacum Cafe has good food as well as a couple places in Pt Townsend, Waterside Pizza and Sirens. I'm guessing you will be taking the Ferry from Pt Townsend to Keystone (Coupeville) and then head north off Whidbey Island as you head for Canada. Trust me the Whidbey Island/Anacortes area would be worth a couple of days and you could do a walk on trip with the ferry out through the San Juans to Friday Harbor. All in all a good trip and time well spent enjoying the area. Let me know your schedule and perhaps we can meet up for Lunch or something. Joe
  13. Hey Guys, Just how far north and where are you planning on moving to? It would be a real shame to miss a trip out through the San Juan Islands while your in the PNW. Joe
  14. After 2 days of RAIN, Friday and Saturday, we are back to FANTASTIC weather here in the PNW. Of course with the coming of the SUN I now have to spend some time doing one of those 4 letter words. Yep I'm going to have to do some WORK. I know that is considered swearing, but then this forum has been getting a bit to sanitized lately and some folks seemed to be going to sleep at the switch. So once again there is WORK in my future. But next Sunday is the opening of CRAB, another 4 letter word, Season but nobody seems to think that using that 4 letter word is cussing. Joe
  15. Hmmmm NM and CO trying to burn the state down, Montaaaaaaana having a heat wave, Steve losing the Ice Cream Machine, shoot ain't much of anything going on up here in the PNW by comparison. Been pretty nice up here on the Island lately, short sleeve and shorts weather. However reservations here at the Resort are filling up, so I should have a good size work crew available to help with projects real soon. Joe
  16. Well I can say it was a resounding success. Everyone walked away complaining of having ate to much. Good thing was though I have a couple left over to put in the freezer. Actually raining here today, off and on. So it's been a pretty lazy day just reading and taking a Steve. You all travel safe. Joe
  17. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA dang Steve your in rare form today. After that I'm gonna have to fix one of them Baaaaaad Whiskeys. Decided to crank up the Smoker today so it's gonna be Smoked Stuffed Burgers from Smokin Joe's BBQ for dinner tonight. Hmmmm should be ready in about 3 hours, you and Carol interested? Joe
  18. A PNW'ers take on the okc farts, May the fleas of a thousand camels infest each and every one of them from the owners down. Joe PS Other than that, good luck.
  19. I think your right. I do need to add though that the Salmon needs to be Copper River Salmon, for a better finished product , not any of that NASTY Farm Raised Atlantic stuff . Joe
  20. But of course I would. However I would have to hang onto the finished product for a while while Quality Control makes sure it is good enough to send back. I'm thinking they should send at least 60 pounds of Boneless Fillets. Joe
  21. Oh Ya, sent it out yesterday with that new shipping company, FED-UPS. Joe
  22. Nother day of "Liquid" Sunshine here in the PNW. So I put a batch of Salmon in one Smoker and getting ready to fire up the other one for a run of Smoked Cheese. Mmmmmmmm not much better than fresh smoked salmon with a bit of fresh smoked cheese to go with it. Other than that just gonna bottle a batch of Cranberry Juice and GOOF OFF. Joe
  23. Yep I second that thought, don't want to miss anyone either. My peg is also going to get a bit of a workout in July, heading to Long Island for a week that month. Joe
  24. Well my peg seems pretty well stuck here on the Island. I'm not all that far from you guys either. Probably going to do some short trips this summer, but most will be so short I won't bother moving the pin. Figuring that when it comes time to head south once again that thing will have taken root and be impossible to move. Joe
