Sailorkane
I am considering a 1994 Winnebago Vectra. Diesel. LP Onan genset. Anyone have any pros or cons?
mrfrank
We had one and liked it. Had some delamination issues and overheating issues. The dealer that we bought it from had repainted it and they painted the radiator during the paint job. The 230hp Cummins had enough power for travel in the east, don't know how it would handle the mountains in the west. The absence of slideouts is probably a plus in a 22 year old coach. Kirk W
With any 20 year old RV, condition and maintenance history are everything. Keep in mind that any appliances that are still original will likely be near the end of life and need replacement in the next few years. I'd suggest that you start by going over it very carefully and using a detailed inspection list. If it passes, then pay for a professional inspection and for checking by a diesel mechanic.
