Some FL70s get up into Class 7 territory, GVWR-wise, and those that do are technically HDTs. But your question is engine related, and the Cat 3126 (and in later years, the virtually identical but differently named C7), is regarded as an MDT engine, found occasionally in "heavier" Class 5 and, more typically, in Class 6 trucks. Your post in the MDT Forum will get more responses than will this one.
