GlennWest
My Freightshaker secondary air tank looks rough. Pitted badly. Those of you that have replaced yours, new or used?. It is steel. JPL
Glenn Used!! Try to find a salvage yard close. Maybe even the internet but new would be my last choice. I had to replace mine and they wanted 1k+ and used $100. i was very lucky. So best option would be to just look around and find something BEFORE it goes bad because weld repairing is a lost cause. GlennWest
No welding it and I'm a welder. Just pitted bad on large portion of bottom. Didn't know they that high new or would not have asked. beemergary
If all I could find was new or used for crazy money I'd make one. Could probably use your old fittings and your a welder. I found a couple pin holes in the weld seams on my 1984 Pete and was an easy fix.
GlennWest
I considered getting a section of stainless 8" pipe and build one. Found some used ones for 150.00. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1

chooseopen
Replacement of my wet tank was my very first job on my Volvo. I bought new on the internet and saved about half. Also, I replaced most of my fittings while I was at it. The job itself was as simple as disconnecting the air lines, unbolting the tank and doing the reverse to reinstall. 2007 Volvo VNL670, Singled, Air ride hitch

Scrap
Be sure you replace it with another DRM secondary tank. If you change it out to a standard tank then you need to change your dryer out to a regular AD-IS with purge tank so that you have a way to plumb the secondary supply port to a tank. The DRM version o-rings the secondary air from the dryer through a pass-thru port in the purge section and into the main secondary section and doesn't give you a way to externally plumb it. GlennWest
Scrap I may be calling it wrong. DNA calls it primary tank. One bad is on passenger side and does not have the dryer attached to it. I only have 2 tanks. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
Scrap
Ah, yea the primary can be any ol tank of equal or greater volume. The secondary is the one special for the dryer. It is big, heavy, gangly, and would really suck to have kicking around if you got the wrong one!
