bigredhdt
This is a pic of the slipshaft in front of the power divider. Is this normal, looks nothing like the one between the power divider and rear axle.
Parrformance
Looks like the Shaft in my Volvo, just a slip sleeve to reduce friction/binding while suspension is cycling up and down. 2006 Volvo VNL 780, " Arvey" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2010 Forest River Coachman Freedom Express 280RLS Jackalopee

Lance A Lott
Mine is a 2012 and has 560,000 and looks much better than this one but it doesn't look new either. Mine was apart recently due to lengthening it and the inside was fine. I would expect them to all look like your at some point. I am not sure at what point they should be taken apart and re greased. Perhaps when the cross needs replacement.
