SWharton
Can anyone recommend a campground around Baton Rouge? None seem well rated, even for an overnight or way too pricey.
ogaddcb
When have stayed one maybe two nights at link to Farr Park several times. The park is right next to the Mississippi river and it's kind of neat to hear the tug boats/barges go by. Just don't try it during a LSU football home game weekend. The park is packed. 2022 F-250 4X4 LB SC Godzilla V8 /2014 Northwood Nash 17K/SKP098347
SWharton
Never even thought about football games. Thanks, we are planning a Thursday night so should be OK.
Pat & Pete
May not be close enough for you , but ... If you'll be coming from the west on 190 , the Cajun Campground , just east of Eunice , La . About an hour and a half to 10 east of Baton Rouge . Older but decent . Nice folks to deal with . An not likely to have any football traffic . LOL Goes around , comes around .
GlennWest
We usually stay at Poche RV Resort when in that area. On the Mississippi River. Not fancy but nice. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
SWharton
We had checked with Cajun and he told us to call the day before since he had a lot of workers in so we needed a fall back campground. We are going from East to West so Poche is too far............ Thanks everyone.

SWharton
Thanks. You should post the Lamar Dixon Expo on RVparkreviews, there is no listing for Gonzales, LA.
