Hot Rod
X2. Grew up on those Smokey and the Bandit movies. Once upon a time we broke down and limped into Texarkana for parts. We walked from our motel to the local beer store and bought a 12 pack of whatever they had just so we could say we "got beer in Texarkana". Been laughing about it ever since. Sad day. Pete Kildow
Always enjoyed his movies. And Smokey and the Bandit was it. Hot Rod I remember when young and dumb. 4 of us made a run to Texarkana got 12 cases of coors. And back to Pickwick lake Tn. Why do that, Because we were told it could not be done in the set time. Would not do it again for sure. Btu young and dumb we did.
Alie&Jim's Carrilite
He and Hal Needham did well for a bunch of stunt guys..... The outtakes of Burts movies are usually better than the movies were. For a guy that didn't want to be a comedian, he sure made people smile! Jim's Adventures Old Spacecraft.... jkoenig24
I really enjoyed the outlandish shootout scene Burt and Clint Eastwood had in "City Heat". Burt Reynolds was a very talented actor. R.I.P. Mr. Reynolds.
bobsallyh
On College Gameday this AM, Lee Corso, Burt's roommate at Florida State while playing football, did a nice remembrance of Burt.
Vegas Teacher
Agree with all of the above! How about the Cannon Ball Run part 1. I love Smokey and the Bandit but I also laughed so hard I cried at Cannon Ball, any pairing with him and Dom DeLuise hilarious! 10 / 4 ya 'll
