Twotoes
I volunteered in Custer State Park for 3 summers a few years back. All of their camp grounds are well kept, especially Game Lodge, Grace Coolidge, and Legion Lake. I highly recommend you stay within the Park. I can't go any length of time without full hook ups. I would literally be heading to the dump station every other day. Quote Click For Full-Size Image. For two of us we were able to last two weeks on 105 fresh (used it for everything, including drinking), 65 grey and 45 black.... and we really did take showers! 😄 Quote Full-timed for 16 YearsTraveled 8 yr in a 2004 Newmar Dutch Star 40' Motorhome and 8 yr in a 33' Travel Supreme 5th Wheel
solo318
I have 100 fresh, 100 grey, and 40 black. The issue is length of showers and the constant need for them. plus we use real dishes and wash them each meal. We are an active bunch. We could probably conserve and go several days if we tried, but it's WAY more pleasant to just get a full hookup site. We limit our dry camping to occasional short term boondocking and travel stops.
