CasaTejas
I can't get a 100% straight answer if it is possible for a US Citizen to travel from the US, through Canada to Alaska. Have spent at least 2 hours online, still not certain. Called government phones, they don't anwer??? Can I pull my 5th wheel from Idaho to Alaska. Thanks for your input! Darryl&Rita
My understanding is only those with ties to Alaska are allowed, and only to directly cross into Alaska. No sight-seeing, no touristing. Some fined Americans here. 2gypsies
The Canadian border is closed for recreational travel until July 21. This was moved up from previous June 21. It might be extended again. Unless you live or work there now is not the time to travel to Alaska. If you go there may be restriction on getting out. It gets cold in Alaska in the winter! 😄 There are many articles via Google. https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/services/covid/non-canadians-canadiens-eng.html https://rvalaskacampgrounds.com/border-crossing/ https://www.anchorage.net/blog/covid-19-traveler-information/ Quote Full-timed for 16 YearsTraveled 8 yr in a 2004 Newmar Dutch Star 40' Motorhome and 8 yr in a 33' Travel Supreme 5th Wheel

Good for them! It's an awesome place to tour, including Yukon and up to Alaska but plan for another year.
