2gypsies
Newmar wasn't affected by Winnebago's takeover and Tiffin probably won't either. They won't want to mess around with their standing in the RV world. Newmar is still the same. Nothing has changed. Darryl&Rita
I'd bet to differ on your appraisal of the current Newmar company. Far more lower level Newmars available than previously. More like up level Winnebago. 2gypsies
For 2021 there are: 4 luxury models 4 diesels 2 gas 2 Super C https://www.newmarcorp.com/shopping-tools/compare-motorcoaches/ Folks tend to keep their diesels longer so if you're seeing more used gas for sale that may be a reason. Plus, those with gas would also upgrade to diesel and their gas would be for sale. Is this what you mean? Regardless, it doesn't mean much to us as the price of diesel motorhomes is out of our reach nowadays... any model. Our 2004 Dutch Star diesel was special-ordered new with over 100 customs added for $150,000. Today, a Dutch Star starts out at $395,000 not including any customs. Gas models are way up there, also. Way too much to spend on a RV!! Darryl&Rita
Well, then dealers are advertising the gassers way more. If I was in the market for a 30' motorhome, Tiffin probably wouldn't be on my radar, just because of where they used to be. They're definitely trying to get there now. Chalkie
The park we are in has a new Newmar New Aire. It is a very short Class A. I looked it up and the starting price was $400K or there about. Umm, no, sorry, no small gas powered Class A is worth that IMO.

rickeieio
I can tell you that since Newmar sold out, their support of old products has gone down the toilet, not that it was good before. In the past, if I called them for a part, they were at least courteous and made an effort. Now, they just saw they don't support the fifth wheels. Look above the grill, see the ‘cut-out’ where the slide for the generator is? Common on DPs. Different than the front on a gasser. Plus door in front of front wheels is a DP. There are some mid-entry DPs, we have one, but not common anymore.
