etcetera
I don't like all white or mostly white or the ones with stripes all over. I understand the reasoning for that, to keep it cooler inside. But are there any paint colors that are in between like light gray? I just don't like white. I will be focusing on C class. agesilaus
If you mean on a new RV I'd say I have not seen many if any. Painting one is $5000 and up. I've often wondered about the sameness of RV paint jobs.
Pat & Pete
There just happens to be more paint colors than you or anyone else can shake a stick at . Choose what you like and run with it . But , like said , it'll cost you . Then again what doesn't ? Quote Goes around , comes around .
sandsys
Most RV manufacturers offer more than white but charge a bit more for other colors. That's why many choose white. We once had one that was very dark brown and it did get hotter in that one that in our white ones but not enough to keep us from liking that rig. Light gray is good if you intend to spend a lot of time in Arizona because that's the color of the dust there. Will B.
Some RV makers (I know that Grand Design is one of those, no Class C's, but just an example) offer full on custom paint jobs, as opposed to "white with decals". We just purchased a new Montana. Had we wanted a full paint job it would have added 6 weeks to the delivery date and $8000 to the price tag. bruce t
We had one full paint bus conversion. Black, red and gold. NEVER again. If you plan on RV parks and running your A/C all the time then ok. They make the RV way hotter inside. If you intend boondocking then white/silver is they only option. Don't believe me. On a hot day go and put your hand on a dark coloured RV and then on a white one. Maybe you should do the white one first because the dark one may burn your hand. All that heat gets transferred inside via the frames etc.
