Twotoes
Thinking of going to Octoberfest at Daytona Beach FL in Oct. Need recommendations for campgrounds in the area. I have a 43 foot Class A. Doesn't have to be right in Daytona but within 45 min to a hour. Thanks in advance. sandsys
Bennett Field Campground in Tiger Bay State Forest has 5 RV boondocking spots of 53-113 foot length. I have no knowledge of this place other than what I found on a map then online but it's about 10 miles west of Daytona Beach. 2gypsies
I sure wouldn't want to be in a large crowd at this time. I believe Octoberfest in Daytona starts October 14. No telling what things will be like in 10 weeks. Could be better or could be worse. I am having a hard time trying to figure out what to do in the next two weeks. We stayed at Nova Family Campground in Port Orange a couple of years ago. Nothing fancy, but a nice quiet campground. Lots of water and electric and no hookups sites as well as full hookup.
solo318
It's a tad more than 45 minutes, But check out Manatee Hammock in Brevard county. We stay there frequently and I'm a tad over 40 feet. They have full hookups and plenty of over sized sites. Quote Click For Full-Size Image.

I wouldn't want to be in any crowd at this time . Specially in Florida , Covid variant is real busy there , vaccinated or not from what I understand . Quote Goes around , comes around .
