Chalkie
Check out Titan tanks. I have been researching too and have settled on Titan. It replaces the OEM tank and almost doubles the size to 65 gallons for my F350.
rynosback
I thought that they removed your spare for the extra capacity? If so, where are people relocating the spare? Jinx & Wayne
On 9/8/2021 at 1:31 PM, Mike Chaput said: advice on adding an aux fuel tank. We installed a 50 gal low profile Transfer Flo Trax 3. See the link to an article about its operation. It fits under the tonneau. It is absolutely seamless in operation. The down side is price. I particularly like no having to fuel up with the fiver attached, even when we travel two days in a row. I had considered an in the bed tank but I already have a low profile toolbox so replacing the OEM fuel tank seems more practical.
palmeris
Replaced my stock 38 gallon with the titan 65 gallon . Did a reprogram of the computer with Forscan and the https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-mxp/ so the DTE calculates properly. Uses the factory send unit Best upgrade on the f450. I also add a 4 0Z shot of opti lube summer blend, targeting 60 gallons at each fill up
