GlennWest
Found this and will give it a try. I am definitly low on amps. https://daygreen.com/collections/48v-60v-72v-to-12v-13-8v/products/36v-48v-to-12v-13-8v-80a-1104w-dc-dc-step-down-converter-voltage-regulator-3-years-warranty-newest I may just use this one on Hydraulic and get a smaller unit for lights, pump, blower motor. GlennWest
Well. I separated my dc circuits yesterday and installed a 12v marine battery. Slides are only items on battery and ac to DC converter. Nothing changed in slide operation. Do have 13+v to hydraulic now though. Going to run slides in today and remove extend hose and run unit to check for bypassing/leaking cylinder Edited March 13, 2022 by GlennWest Quote 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
57becky
You might check the auto reset breaker on the line from the batteries to the pump motor. On the newer rigs that use #4 strand copper leads, Lippert recommends an 80 amp auto reset breaker as the amp draw from the pump motor can exceed 70 amps. https://manuals.heartlandowners.org/manuals/Exterior/Stabs_n_Leveling/Lippert/80 amp breaker lippert0058.pdf
GlennWest
Mine totally different unit. Yes, lippert owns it now though. Mine has a self resetting circuit breaker. And only 30 amp too. That confusing as 60 amp DC/DC would fall on its face running it. GlennWest
Looking at my rams shaft I believe I was overlooking the obvious. They rusted where I have neglected them. Likely leaking internally from damaged seals. Bedroom slide last out so it comes up short on fluid. Traveling pressure drops so opposing slides creep out and relax.
