GlennWest
As mentioned in other post going back to NC. Know they require Class A for over 26k like Texas. Wondering if anyone done this is you had to go thru test or just swap out license. Steve from SoCal
I can't say for sure, 'most' states change license for new residents with no drive/written testing. Eye exam and med card for class A? I know in kansas you can self certify Quote 2005 Peterbilt 387-112 Baby Cat 9 speed U-shift 1996/2016 remod Teton Royal Atlanta 1996 Kentucky 48 single drop stacker garage project Pulls like a train, sounds like a plane....faster than a Cheetah sniffin cocaine. But allowing swapping out licenses not address. When I came to Texas from NC they just did eye test and gave me license. But a Class A lot more involved. Reckon I will find out when I get there. Jaydrvr
When I moved from OH to FL it was a simple matter of going into the DMV, taking the eye test, having my photo taken and wait a few minutes for the license to be fabricated. There was nothing additional related to the Class A CDL. My limited experience suggests that's normal in most states. Jay

My point was that it was really easy for me with a CDL. I would think a non-CDL would be even easier. Just relaying my experience.
