Need to replace the air line pass through

Recommended Posts

I need to replace the airline pass-through on the firewall. It leaks no matter what I do (new lines, new o-rings).

I have the new pass-through block in hand (Volvo thinks highly of these plastic bits). What I would like to know is what to expect from this R&R task. Tips from those who know more about this than I.

Appreciate the input.

Simple replacement, take 15-20 photos of each side.

go slow take your time label stuff with masking tape and swap it out.

No surprises when I did my 2006 Volvo VNL 780 several years ago.

Same did it 10 years ago on 2006 Volvo 780.  Wasn’t that difficult.  Echo Parr’s advice.  Plenty of pictures, diagrams, and labels.  I have learned to photograph everything before I start a project.  As my friends will tell you, I am “mechanically challenged “ to say the least, but at least I have a record of what it should look like. 😊
