rickeieio
My child bride and I are meandering our way to Alaska to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Today, we left a restaurant in a truck stop in South Dakota, and were approached by a woman who asked if she could take a picture of our rig. Of course you can. She said she needed to go get her camera, and went to the driver side of a white Volvo 730 with "Foltz" on the door. When she came back, I asked her how many women drove for that company. She replied 3 or 4. I told her I knew someone who had a Foltz truck that they suspected had been driven by a woman, and it was especially well kept, to which she smiled and said she had a reputation for having one of the cleanest, neatest trucks in the fleet. Av8r3400, I think I found her......... Deezl Smoke
Happy anniversary for certain. I truly hope you two have many more together. It is a small world after all and each day, getting smaller. Though I personally have not had such experiences as I am not very social, my employer has had many. One time he run across an old friend we'll call Steve, at the Sumpter Oregon historic gold dredge. Both families were on vacation and just bumped into each other. The following year, breakfast in Phoenix Arizona, Paul's family walks in to set down and.......a few tables over sat Steve and his family. So now the inside joke whenever Paul leaves on a trip is, "say hey to Steve". Quote I'm a work'n on it.
