SuiteSuccess
Would anyone know what refrigerant my 2006 Volvo 780 would use? Would it be R134a or R1234yf? I wouldn’t think it was R12 or R22. lappir
My 2001 and 2000 use the 134A. It should be listed somewhere under the hood, but I don't remember where for sure. Nigel
Carl, there should be a black sticker right above your windshield washer fill that tells you how much r134a your system holds. Moresmoke
You’ve got it figured out, but was just going to comment the connectors are different between the 2 refrigerants, so hard to mess up. And when you price R1234yf, you will double check to make sure you are right.

Nigel Sometimes you can’t fix stupid and I’ve had my share of being stupid. I looked all over under the hood in the location and no black sticker until I noticed a raised area in my red paint where the sticker was supposed to be. I had that fender repainted couple of years ago. Surely they didn’t cover the sticker before painting. Yep, peeled the painted tape off and lo and behold, the sticker. How stupid of me. Nigel
That’s how I knew where it was. I was under the hood for something else and noticed the painted over masking tape and wondered what is was. Glad you got it figured out. Nigel Quote 2006 Volvo VNL 430, 2006 smart cabrio cdi, 2000 Triple E Topaz 30'
