I wish I'd never ditch my old XP machine. lappir Posted September 1 Report Share Posted September 1 (edited) Was tying to post a photo, but the ATT cell service is limited here. I'm at Methodist Cove Park, a COE on Lake Harlan in Alma, NE. My first time here and got lucky last week snagging the last available spot. Didn't know if I'd fit for sure, but other than taking the wrong route around the park and having to do a 3 point turn around I made it into the site with room to spare. Sites are listed at 62 max, but I have my full rig with the Jeep in front and could park another full size pickup there too I think. Neighbor has a 5th wheel, pontoon boat and a pickup on their spot. I'll try to add a photo when I get to a place with better service. Or when the photo thing wants to work. Spots 40 to 50 along the lake seem to all be the same length. Google maps show trees, but they are well away from the parking area, they are all 50 amp(I think) so you wouldn't have to use your solar. I just noticed a Hydrant next to my neighbors spot and I'm pretty sure I have enough hose to refill my tank if I get low. I left it at 50% for the trip from Iowa to Nebraska. When I booked it I got a message to remind me of that, but if it was the only site I could reserve it. Called the park to verify and they indicated it was fine to use. Have a photo on the iPhone and will add it later.
